A huge gorilla makes a sweet friendship with a little bush baby

ANIMAUX

According to kingdomstv, the non-profit organizaton Ape Action Africa is committed to the preservation of chimpanzees, gorillas, and other endangered primates.

The 300 inhabitants are checked daily by the caretakers; this is regular, and it often produces routine outcomes.

However, it turns out that occasionally these ape occupants would surprise these knowledgeable carers in novel ways.

A caretaker one day discovered Bobo, a Western Lowland gorilla who was saved in 1996, together with an anticipated buddy.

Our gorilla caretaker found Bobo holding a small, wild bush infant during his morning checkups.

The babe made no attempt to avoid him; instead, it spent some time bouncing around in a large grassy meadow before deciding to come back to him.

This is particularly surprising considering that Bobo is the leading male in his troop and has successfully resisted challenges from more aggressive gorillas.

It comes out that this monster also has a soft side.

It is quite unusual to observe a bush baby during the day because they are typically diurnal.

At Mefou Rescue, we have never seen a wild monkey get along with a rescue one.

The baby moved around his torso and spent some time bouncing around in an open patch of grass before deciding to go back to him.

The members of his group were likewise interested in what was going on.

The other members of his gang were interested in the bush baby and thought he would share it with everyone, but He held it to himself.

They were together for a full 2 hours until Bobo took his new friend back to the forests where the missing bush baby had vanished.

With over 300 primates under its care, Ape Action African is the resources initiative of its type in Africa.

Due to the illicit pet and bushmeat industries, many of these creatures are orphans when they arrive at the refuge.
